You're squeezing through Serangoon Road with a crumpled list: Tiger Balm for Appa, Axe Oil for Paati, chocolates for the kids, soap and shampoo for everyone. Three shops, four hours, one sore back. And next trip, you'll do it all again.
We saw friends and neighbours go through this every single time. So we asked: what if the list was already packed?
Kuruvy means sparrow, the little bird that always finds its way home. We pack the gifts your family always asks for, at a fair price, and bring them to your door or your dormitory. You just carry them home.
How Kuruvy works
Every pack is put together in Singapore from the same brands you would buy yourself: Tiger Balm, Axe Brand oil, Nivea, Dove, Ferrero Rocher and more, bought from supermarkets and licensed wholesalers. Each pack shows exactly what is inside and what it costs, with no hidden charges. If Amma asked for something different, message us on WhatsApp before you pay and we will swap or add items and tell you the new price.
Ordering takes a few minutes. Choose a pack, add a free gift note in Tamil or English, and pay by PayNow with any Singapore bank app. We deliver anywhere in Singapore with a postal code, HDB, condo, office or dormitory, usually within a day or two, and we confirm the time on WhatsApp so someone is there to receive it. If your dormitory is on our list, you can collect at the gate instead, free of charge.
Kuruvy is run by INFOTECHRA PTE. LTD., a Singapore company, for people from India who live and work here: dormitory residents, families, students and professionals who want to bring something home without losing their last weekend to shopping. The site works in English and Tamil, and our WhatsApp line answers in both.
